Hilary Duff is going to be back on TV!

I suppose this is exciting news for Hilary Duff as the actress who rose to fame with her Disney Channel series “Lizzie McGuire” has been signed on with NBC in a one year talent and development deal but it is yet to be announced exactly what her show is going to be about. The deal will also have her make appearances in other NBC shows.

Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President of NBC Entertainment said “Hilary is an incredibly versatile talent with a huge following whose career we know will continue to soar on NBC. We are confident we will develop great ideas that would feature her vast talents and are thrilled to have this opportunity.”

Lizzie…I mean Hilary, now 21, may have youth on her side and the exuberance that comes with it but that doesn’t necessarily mean she can produce wonders for the big boys & gals at NBC. There definitely is potential but the writers at NBC and Ms. McGuire…or Ms. Duff will have to really come up with something brilliant…something good enough to either match her lost popularity or even out do it. So She may have the beauty but does she have the brain to muster up enough imagination and creativity??

Physical Beauty is overrated.
